Bal Vikas Samiti
Bal Vikas Samiti is a society formed for the betterment of children. Neelam Sharma and Satya Narayan Sharma set it up in 1997. It runs Saraswati Public School and is governed by a board of directors.
Saraswati Public School
The society's English-medium school in Devidaspura, Sector 5, Thanesar, Kurukshetra. Named after Goddess Saraswati — सरस्वती निकेतन. Motto: संस्कारों की नींव पर शिक्षा का भवन.
The school takes students regardless of background — that was the reason it was started and it still holds. Today there are 350+ students and 25 staff (teaching and non-teaching). HBSE-affiliated; books and structure follow CBSE. Pre-Nursery through Class X, with Playway for the youngest.
Academics and Indian values are both part of the routine — not separate tracks. Mrs. Neelam Sharma, co-founder of the society, is Principal. The board handles governance; teaching and day-to-day work happen on campus. See also our achievements.
